Artist Name: Judith Ann Burton

Judith Ann Burton was born in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1939. She has been interested in drawing and painting for as long as she can remember. Judith proceeded to major in Art in college, while earning a minor in education. She received her B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University and also attended Idaho State University, the University of Washington, Centralia J.C., and Bremerton J.C. Judith received her Masters degree from Sonoma State University in counseling. She has taught and counseled students for twenty years and recently decided to pursue her art full time. Her most recent award was Best of Show in Chowchilla, California in 2002. She has had the opportunity to show her work in Merced at the University of California and Merced College. Her work can also be seen at the Valley Children?s Hospital in Fresno, California.
